Constitutional Convention

Hundreds of delegates from our affiliated unions across the Commonwealth convene every other year for the PA AFL-CIO Biannual Constitutional Convention. Delegates gather over three days to set the course of the federated body for the next two years. Our resolutions submitted by delegates and the Executive Council lay the foundation of the State Feds agenda. Delegates then vote on the passage of resloutions, which is surrounded by lively discussion, and whatever other business presents itself. Highlights from the 47^th Constitutional Convention held March 31- April 2 in Philadelphia include the reelections of President Ferritto and Secretary-Treasurer Cobb as well as the passage of 38 resolutions.
